I didn't drown!
Nope, still breathing, I've just been busy with other projects. :) One weekend I didn't feel well, the next the wind blew like crazy and the following one I went to Sante Fe to visit Laura at her fabric conference. That was cool, really nice hotel room too! It's always fun to go to another town, especially one that has cool stuff like Indian food and completely different garage sales.
Tonight I've got an appointment with a friend to gather free stuff for the gallery. He has a set of cabinets and garage doors for me. This will be VERY helpful for any number of reasons. For one thing what's a studio without storage space for all the junk you never use but is way too good to throw away? :) And the doors will come in handy because once they're up I can move stuff in and out without the pesky prying eyes of the city on me.
One should never underestimate that little detail :O
OK, gotta get ready to lift and move heavy things now.
